Awhile ago I somehow did something and lost Safari. I went to reinstall it, but it wouldn't let me because it was telling me my OS wasn't up to date (it was)?

Well, after a few OS updates, it lets me install Safari just fine. But when I go to use it, it just bounces in my dashboard for a minute, and never opens. I have to force quit to get it to stop.

Any ideas? Am I installing wrong? Did I not delete everything? I searched for Safari in my finder and I'm pretty sure I got rid of all the files that go with Safari.

If you have Safari installed you can clean delete it with App Cleaner

If you want to keep any bookmarks, back-up the bookmarks file first

Users > You > Library > Safari > Bookmarks.plist

Then try reinstalling fresh
