Okay i've got kinda of a big problem.
Yesterday when I came home my macbook pro was not booting properly. I only get to see a black screen.
My external screen was connected and it did not get any signal as well.

I'm really confused since I didn't do anything to it, it was just standing there and suddenly it did this.

How can I check if this is my graphics card that is broke, is it possible it's that ? Or can I check if it's an internal cable that's loose suddenly ?
(It did not fell or something..)

Thanks

my macbook pro is one and a half year old (i bought it in july 2007)

Howdy, I am having the same problem, I notice this happen after updating the OS with the latest update. Do you see the blue screen at first then it goes black? If so, just press the F2 key once or twice and you should be okay. It seems the lastest OS update brings the color screen to zero=black. Mine is set at two bars now and it starts up like before.
