iChat/GMail/AIM

I am using Google Chat through iChat as of right now. Is it possible to change the setting on iChat so I can chat with AIM users even though I do not have an AIM account?

If you don't have an account on the AIM service, then you can't chat with anyone on that service, regardless of the client you are using to chat with.

Just sign up for an AIM screen name, it's free.

And then can I log into both accounts at once through iChat?

Yes. You can login G-mail, AIM and iChat

I know this is an older thread, but... I heart M-F's. I was looking everywhere to figure out how to add a buddy with an AIM account. Shouldda come here first. I wish that this basic info was listed in the iChat help screens or somewhere. Of course it only took a sec to get an AIM account, just didn't know I needed to. Thanks, D3v1L80Y!
