desktop pictures

i think i read somewhere that you can have your desktop change pictures on its own with some setting on a Mac "is this true"

Yes. It's very simple. Open System Preferences> Desktop and Screen Saver> And Check the "Change Picture every (5, 10 15 minutes, etc.) This prevents an image from burning into the screen, or give you a little variety.

wow that is awesome.. cuz i have a lot of desktop pictures.... i like to see them all up there ...
