SMALL Printer for MBP 1st Gen

I don't know why buying printers has to be so hard.

(The printer that the guy at the apple store recommended I buy with my MBP never, EVER worked!)

I just want a SMALL (not portable, just small) printer. I don't need (or want) color, I don't print photos, I don't scan, I don't copy. I don't do anything fancy. But I also don't have a lot of room.

Can anybody suggest something small, but that prints nice quality black and white text that I won't be embarrassed to turn into my employers/professors.

As for sharp text HP usually gets the crown as for photo and color EPSON
and CANON usually tie as I have owned all 3 tech support has been better
with HP since 10.5 as for small footprint printer the Canon wins you may
just have to look at all thats available Best Buy usually has the most models.
