Airport Express plugged into wired router - NOT WORKING

I've plugged in my new Airport Express from a connection off my wired router and gone through the setup of the Airport Express about 10 times now.

Everytime, I set up a wireless network that works fine except there's no internet connection.

I have no idea what I'm doing wrong, so can someone please help?

If it makes a difference, the wired router in question is a D-Link DI-604.

Under Internet>Connection Sharing, do you have it set to "Off (Bridge Mode)"?

I'm not using the router you have, but my AE works fine connected to a Netgear wired router.
