import jpg to iPhoto turns image blue

Hi all,

New to the forums here. I've been using iPhoto for a year and this is the first time I've run into this problem. I had some pdfs of drawings (black on white background) that I exported to jpg using Adobe Illustrator on a PC. They look fine in a browser window and in Preview on my Macbook Pro but when I import them into iPhoto they turn blue.

Any ideas on how to correct/prevent this?

Open them up in Graphic Converter and if they are file, make sure they are in RGB color space and export them again from Graphic converter
