RAM Question - 24 inch MB325X/A,Intel core 2 Duo 2.8G,2G

I bought this imac and want to add another 2 g of ram into this puppy.

Two questions can i add a third party 2 g ram chip next to the original. one

its currently running at 880mhz can i add two faster ones?

1. Yes, you can use third party memory.

2. Yes, but you would realize no speed increase in doing so. It's 800MHz regardless. It's always best to get the correct kind of memory for your machine.
