blue screen when I start up mac

When I start up my mac, after the "apple" log shows up, there is 2-3 seconds blank blue screen, and then it runs well...
And I tried the tips on MAC site, but it still exist..
btw, is this normal or not??

It's just Mac, not MAC.

And yeah, totally normal.

That is the normal startup procedure for Leopard - power on - chime - grey screen - gear wheel - blue screen - Leopard desktop.

You can use various utilities or modify a file to watch the Mac really load. It is doing quite a bit of work loading Unix, and I like to see what is loading.


enter this at the terminal to always watch verbose logging: sudo nvram boot-args="-v"

or, hit Command V right after hitting the power button to watch the verbose log on that session only.
