Can the mini display port drive a 37" ?

15" alluminum MacBook Pro 2.53
I recall them say that it can drive a 30" display, but would it drive my 37" LCD?

Support for external displays has more to do with the resolution than with screen size. Your Macbook supports a max resolution of 2560 x 1600, so if your 37" has that resolution or lower, then you're set.

Macbook Pro 15" 2ghz/2GB/250gb/SD - White Macbook 2.16ghz/2.5GB/250GB/SD
Plus with ALL 1080p T.V's, the resolution is 1920x1080. So you should be good to go, no matter the size of the TV.
