Hey all,
I'm having trouble switching users in the CLI. Although I can easily switch users using finder, I'm interested in learning things via the CLI.
Here's what happens...
I log in as user 1 (admin) and type su "user 2"
It prompts me for a p/w, which I enter for "user 2"
I then get user 1 computer:/Users/User 1 user 2$
I then type the who -m command, it shows that I'm still logged in as user 1... User 1 ttyp1 Dec 15 16:52
What am I doing wrong?
User 1 is my default admin account, user 2 is a standard account with no admin rights.
