Is there a different place to find a MacBook's Model No?
I have a 2006 MacBook that has a very tired battery that won't charge all the way, and even when I am plugged in the tool bar says (Not Charging) even though it does charge some. I took it in to have Apple look at it and they said I was not eligible for the battery replacement.
So I am looking for a replacement battery on ebay. Apple wants $128.
None of the Model Nos listed on ebay match mine. They all start with MAXXXX or MBXXXXX
System Profiler says my MacBook Model No. is "MacBook,1,1"
Aren't all MacBook batteries the same?
