After my old Superdrive stopped reading my CD-rs and DVDRW I got a new one installed ( a HL-DT-ST DVDRRW GSA-4166B:) but now I can't watch commercial "Hollywood" DVDs......

Can anyone help?
Not able to find where to check where the region codes are.

Use System Profiler in the Utilities folder to see how OS X thinks it supports for the drive. Look under Hardware --> Disc Burning.

Do you know if that drive is suppose to be supported.
