Mac mini 1GB Upgrade

The price of a 1GB Upgrade for the Mac mini on the US Apple Store is $ 325 - on the UK Store it is an incredible $1056 ( £ 561 )

What on earth is going on? - I hope this is a mistake !

apple charges up the arse for ram, go to crucial or owc, you can get a 1 gig stick for half that.

£561 ??? And I thought the €420,- on the German Apple store were expensive!
No really, Apple's RAM pricing is a big ripoff...Do they have genuine diamonds on them or what?!?

They did just recently lower their prices on the Mac Mini upgrade stuff.. so you might check again, and probably write them also to make sure that it is correct.. that does seem like way way too much.

I was looking into this on the UK store site and its currently at £220.01 (plus tax) for the 1Gb upgrade. Works out at 318EUR or approx $415

Exchange rates taken from www.xe.com

Yep - the price has dropped frim £561.00 since yesterday - I guess it must have been a mistake !
