So I have a new late 2008 Macbook and I seem to be having some internet issue. When I turn on my computer, or wake it up from sleep, or even just open a new browser window, it seems to take 15-30 seconds from when i click on safari to actually acknowledge that I am trying to access the internet and load the web page.
I also have a 2007 iMac sitting right next to it connecting to the same router and it has no problem, as soon as i click on safari it starts loading the page and is open in a second or two.
Anyone have any ideas what is causing this? It's rather frustrating when I'm at home or at school and need to hop on the internet real fast and it takes almost 30 seconds to realize I want to get online. Thanks in advanced for your help.
