Powermac G3 B/W - Logic Board upgrade?

Does anyone know if it is possible to convert a Rev. 1 Powermac G3 G/W to a Rev. 2 by switching out motherboards? I haven't seen this particular issue addressed in any other online discussions so far.
I was hoping this would work on my machine as the data corruption issue is driving me crazy.

data corruption? it should work, though itd still be a rev 1, just sporting a rev 2 motherboard.
