Hello I have an iMac G4 1ghz with 17" flat monitor. It has the grey screen but I have an additional monitor hooked up through the DVI port and Im on it right now so I know it works past startup but the screen just doesnt work. Could this be a video card problem or something with other software or hardware. Please help !!!

Goose nech G4 iMacs do have a history of inverter/back light failures which seems to be the problem as the additional monitor is working.
