Deleting partition help

Boot Camp is designed only for installing Windows XP or Vista not Linux. Once you create a partition that the BC assistant doesn't recognize, it can't be removed the normal way.

You say you ran Disk Utility... Did you boot the machine with your Leopard install Disk One and run Disk Utility from the First Aid menu? It sounds like you may be running DU while the machine is booted from your Macintosh HD.

You may wind up having to do an erase and install using your Leopard DVD disk One and Two if you can't remove that partition. Be sure to make a backup of your Macintosh HD first.
