I got one of the new macbooks, and it's been great so far.

However, I just had a problem with my shortcuts. It's really bothering me. The **** things went crazy, and my F1-F12 keys are messed up. Doesn't sound like much of a problem, but when I go into system preferences, there's no way to change shortcuts for pausing music, switching tracks, or changing volume.

And no, restoring defaults doesn't work for some reason. It just put's it back to the stupid set up that first screwed everything up..

Way... way too many specs to list.
This isn't on the keyboard preference pane?

It should be unchecked if you want to use those keys for special functions (i.e. play/pause/forward/brightness up/down). If it is checked, they will just work like normal function keys. You can still access the special functions by pressing the respective keys in tandem with the Fn key.
