Smart Mailboxes Question

I created a Smart Mailbox to collect incoming emails. Its working except it leaves the email in my Inbox. If I delete the Inbox copy the same email is deleted from the Smart Mailbox. How do I set it up so that the email no longer shows in my Inbox and only the Smart Outbox?

Smart Mailboxes are just a view of existing messages. If you want to manipulate messages, you need to use Rules (in Preferences).
