Are there any firefox add-ons/extensions that add the three-finger swipe (back and forward in browsing)? Two-finger scrolling works well for me...

Ive heard that "multiclutch" does it, but i would rather a real firefox extension, not an additional program running...

I just got my first macbook pro 15" unibody and i would LOVE to use my favorite browser with all of the features of OSX...

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Hi,
I don't know a plugin to do that but MutliClutch works just fine ! If you install a plugin to FF it is also an additional software running.

The advantage of MultiClutch is that you can use it for any app of your OSX.

cheers,
Tex

I set those shortcut as "global" (i.e. for any application)
Code:
Swipe left = cmd+left = Back
Swipe right = cmd+right = Forward
Swipe down = cmd+w = close tab

+ those ones for firefox
Code:
Zoom in = cmd+r = reload
Swipe up = cmd+t = new tab

enjoy ;)

pman555, Firefox 3.5 includes support for gestures. If you open about:config and search for browser.gesture, you will find the items that relate to this. Swipe left and right can be set to forward/backward, and you can create a new string (eg browser.gesture.swipe.up) to do other actions.
