Hulu playback skipping?

I was trying to watch American Dad yesterday on Hulu and it started skipping?? I was really confused why it was skipping at the "Hi Def (480P)" setting on my brand new 2.4 MB AL. I have an 8 mbps connection from Comcast so I assumed it had to be my comp. Any ideas??

I have a late 2007 black Macbook and haven't had any issues with Hulu but have noticed issues on Netflix with the synchronization of audio & video in Firefox & Safar

any ideas as what it could be? I doubt more Ram would help...(I've been itching to buy new RAM rofl)

same thing happens to me when i view videos on cnn.com. maybe its the new crappy flash video?
