I have two P&S cameras:

Canon PowerShot G7
Olympus SP-320.

I am looking at an entry level DSLR soon, most likely a Nikon D60.

Another one with a Nikon D40.
I use the standard 18-55 lens and I bought a 55-200mm VR lens which is fantastic.
I also use an SB400 and a cheap (£20) flash which I use off camera with a set of VERY cheap remote triggers. I'm gonna upgrade the SB400 to the SB600 because I haven't found a way to get the 400 to fire off camera and I'm finding myself going more in that direction.

And I got a lovely Dynasun WT666 tripod for xmas.
Just didn't get any time to play with it :)

I'm looking to get the D700 but I'm looking to get a better paying job also. =)

For the digital side of things:
Canon 400d with battery grip
35mm f2
70-210mm f4
18-55mm
430exII

I got the 35mm recently and have been having far too much fun using only that and the flashgun - restrictive compared to a zoom lens, yet it somehow just works...

I do like playing around with some older 35mm cameras too, mainly a Nikon FM (with 50mm f1.8) and Olympus XA2 - generally the film cameras are used with black and white film, or slightly odd processed like cross processed slide film or redscale.

If you are interested, pictures are at www.flickr.com/photo/narcosynthesis and comments (good or bad) are always appreciated.

My gear is a bit... limited as you can see. I really want a D90 or even a D300 but alas, I'm a poor college student and can't afford either of those. :p

I use a Sony Alpha A100, but I'm contemplating upgrading to the A700 which has a better sensor (CMOS compared to the A100's CCD). I also have an old Olympus OM-1 35mm SLR and am debating getting a holga just because :)

I use a Sony A-300 and it is amazing. I got it with 2 kit lenses. a wide angle and a zoom. I am just beginning but it has worked out wonderful for me so far.

I use a Canon EOS 450D with kit lens and Canon EFS 75-300mm USM MkIII, and that is it for now, only had it 8 months so saving up for some super-duper lenses.

Used to use a Samsung NV3 which i thought was good but pales into insignificance next to the pictures by my EOS, best cameras by a mile.

Only had my mac a few weeks but very, very happy with the way it handles the large images and Canon Digital Photo Professional

As of yesterday, I'm the proud owner of a D80. So the D40 will be going o ebay shortly.

I'm thinking VERY seriously about one of those Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 lenses.
How do you find it Xanis?
Nice and fast and sharp??

The Nikkor 50mm is an awesome lens, well worth it to have in your collection.

Congrats on the D80 - you will definitely appreciate it's abilities over the D40. Using the display on the top of the camera instead of having to hit the Info button to change your settings is a major plus.
