i need help getting getting logitech dual action gamepad to work?

I bought a logitech dual action gamepad about 5 years ago for windows XP and just recently I bought a mac leopard and on the box it shows that it is mac os x 10 and up compatible but I cant seem to get it to work when I plug it in the USB and it has an install disc but I cant work it on a mac because I think the disc is only windows compatible. Can anyone help? BTW im not sure if this is even the right forum sorry if it isn't.

can anyone help I downloaded the logitech control center but it was only for mouse and keyboards plus I found out that it does read the controller in system profiler

Logitech has no drivers for that device for OS X.
