Ok, so my 100GB isn't really cutting it anymore, so I want to upgrade the Harddrive.

I will end up going with a 320GB or 500GB.

My question is this. Once I get the harddrive, is there a way I can keep my exisiting system config and software, and not have to re-install everything?

If I do a full system backup with Time Machine, can I then use Time Machine to restore my system?

If you do a full back up using time machine it'll help a lot. Once your new hd has OSX on it, you can use the migration assistant and everything will be as it was.

So I can use Migration Assistant, and put it to the TimeMachine hdd?
