Removing Corrupt Apps?

Hopefully someone can help,

While running an update for the apps on my Touch 2nd Gen, there was some sort of error (no message was displayed) and now instead of the apps, I have grey boxes that say 'waiting...' underneath. They're not showing in iTunes and I can't remove them using the wiggle... any suggestions??

Wow....never do more than one at a time for precisely this reason, especially with some of the heavier apps that are out there. I always update through iTunes because it happened to me once, but I am jailbroken so I was able to go in and fix it.

I really don't know what to tell you other than do a restore.
