thats the coolest thing Ive seen in a long time. wish I had one to show off, so if anyone would like to donate one to my cause, lol, just playing. I may buy one, itll take a week or so to save the money for it, but Im planning on buying a powermac g5 soon as possible, so a mini is out of the question at current.

Macman AND Amen-Moses are right...

Right out of the box, you can only use Stereo speaker, including a 2.1 system.

But with an additional 5.1 decoder, that plugs into the computer (not sure anymore if it's FW or USB) you can have true 5.1 sound.

I think it's M-audio who sells one for $99,- or something like that...

Avalon is right. If you get the <-audio USB decoder it will detect.

I am only running a 2.1 Logitech speakers (2 speakers an 1 sub). Sounds good.
