Deleting Past Searches in Websites

hi there

im not sure if this is in the wrong place sorry if it is but how do delete past searches in website dropdown menu's

i.e when i go to istockphotography and type in a some letter for a search a drop down menu drops down with all my past searches using the letters i type in like it does in your internet browser when it remembers websites

how do i delete these past serches

im using safari as my browser

The easiest way to cover your tracks would be to click the Safari menu and then click "Reset Safari". That clears all caches, history and form data.

interesting feature is also 'private browsing', where safari doesn't save any data from your browsing session. I was hoping Firefox had this too, especially when you surf another computer.
