Hi. I just got a new MBP (one generation back) and I need to extend the receiving strength of the receiver antenna. Myself and a coworker have been put in a building across from the main building, and the company won't pay to install wireless in our older, but newly filled, building (we have ethernet, however, it is a secure line and we cannot put personal computers on to it for obvious reasons).
What is the best way to get the signal from the other building? I can walk my laptop just outside, and I get a usable signal, but when I sit at my desk, nothing. Any help would be appreciated. Are there USB antennas or something? What am I looking for?
