Hope someone who understands this earlier version can help.
I just bought a MAC G4 notebook used, erased the drive and reloaded the operating system (version 10.3.4, Panther), setup a second user, and all worked well. Then I added keynote & microsoft office for mac (all older versions) under the administrator login. (The second user was setup to have access to all applications and some utilities.) But even before I edited it to this, every time I try to login as the second user, the MAC takes forever to go anywhere. It just has the blue & white bar under the login and never goes to the blue screen, or anywhere. I let it sit and try for over 30 minutes (neither install took this long). I deleted the user and then recreated it. Nothing is helping. No matter what, if I login as the second user it gets "stuck" and never loads, just runs and runs and runs.
HELP!
Thanks!
