I connected my ipod nano to my iMac before I realized that it was not compatible with the older version of OS X (OS X 10.3.9) and like an idiot clicked ignore when a screen popped up saying something about not being able to read the device and giving me the option to ignore or eject. Now my ipod is saying "Connected. Eject before disconnecting", but it is not recognized anywhere on the computer or iTunes, I've gone to finder and I can not find it listed anywhere so I can't eject it. Is there a way to locate devices connecting to the USB port manually? Any help would really be appreciated, I just got the ipod and know next to nothing about them and/or how to fix this. I'm assuming disconnecting before ejecting is something I really do not want to do.
