How do I read DOS files?

Hi everyone, I am a newbie to macs. Want to use VodaHost's bluevoda to create a website, however when I downloaded bluevoda it came out in characters with a message cannot read DOS files. Any ideas?

From the looks of it (I just downloaded it myself on a Windows computer), the application is a Windows-only executable. VodaHost may a Mac version; I just didn't have the time to dig deep enough ;)

what extension did the file have when you downloaded it?

1) ok answer to your question is that you use dosbox - dos emulator

2)solution to your problem differs a LOT :D. File is most likely windows executable -
2a) emulate -wine, crossover
2b) run in windows - nativly: bootcamp[not recom]
- in virtual enviroment: vmware, parallels etc.

3)you may not want to hear this but learn html, php... whatever the hard way if you want to take web development seriously - textmate is a great text editor for coding
