powerpoint prob

ok i did i presentation on powerpoint on my mac, i then loaded it up on my pc win xp, it was all ok except the pcitures, none of them appeared. where the pcitures should be it siad that i did not have quicktime to decode it or something,

i had added the pictures from the net.... if that helps...

anyone lese had this prob??

i have found out that this problem happens with ll my mac office applictations, powerpoint, word, excel,

so does this mean my work done son a mac using office when loaded on a pc the pcis will only load if quicktime is installed on the pcs??

if its a presentation with sound, video, or images. try using windows file formats for the images, like .bmp, or even some jpgs.

thats the thing, the images were all jpegs, i had no sound or videos...

then Id say try gif or tiff, or export using preview to a png, bmp, or something similiar.

but i thought that i wouldn't have these compatibility issues as i am using office!!!

so each time i wan tto add a pci i hae got to change it into a different format!! :mad:

That's very strange, jpeg's should be fine on any pc...

Are you using fancy transitions? Maybe those require quicktime for some reason???

transitions?? i haven't hcnaged any settings on any of the programs, i added pictures from a range of different websites and none of them loaded! :(

hmm, ok, well i have had no probs with pc - pc, or pc - mac, it is only when i do mac - pc,

the top link isn't relevent, am i suppose to be saving as a package then??
