MacBook memory swap with a newer iMac

OK. I just bought a 4gig upgrade for my new iMac, and now i have 2 extra 1gb ram sticks. My question is will my 2 x 1gb ram sticks work in my wifes 3rd gen MacBook. I know the clock speed on my ram is 800mHz and on my wifes MacBook is 667mHz. Will this cause conflict? or slow down her MacBook.

Generally, faster memory will work OK in a machine which uses slower memory provided the RAM parameters are the same. Check the specs for both at Memory upgrades, flash media, and usb storage at Crucial.com
