Recently I have been getting a browser hijack from antivirusdefense.com. I can clearly see it's for pc's cause it keeps "searching" through all my .exe files (I don't run windows at all on this machine). So consequently I have only been able to find fixes for pc. Anyone have any ideas?

Your home page is being hi-jacked? Is that what you mean? Since the OS X version of Firefox uses no registry settings you should be able to go into preferences and delete the antivirusdefense.com page. You may have to also delete the Firefox Plist file which should be listed under your user name:

/Users/your user name/Library/Preferences/

Regards.

No my home page is not hijacked. It happens every so often. Doesn't matter what page im on. I get a little dropdown that says it found spyware and no matter if you click ok or cancel it automatically redirects you to anitvirusdefense and shows a fake status bar that says it's scanning though my .dll and .exe files.

You have picked up a trojan so go to browser preferences and erase caches and as suggested the firefox.plist from Library. To get further information do a Google search of antivirusdefence.com.
