i reinstalled the os with the 1st cd and i lost ilife which comes with the mac. do any one know how to retrive it

If I'm not mistaken, iLife is on the second disc. You just need to run the installer.

when i reinstall Leopard i have to reinstall it twice because the first time iMovie doesn't install, on the second time it does.
So just reinstall again, that should do the trick.
