Star Wars Battlefront 2 on GMA X3100

the title pretty much says it all...
i want to buy battlefront 2 for Windows and run it on my MacBook via Boot Camp. I am a little concerned that the GMA X3100 graphics card will not be able to handle the game. Has anyone been able to run it with this card?

The list below are the Video chipsets which are supported for the beta. More than likely the same holds true for the release version. You will also need to install DirectX 9C.

I'm almost certain the new MacBook with its faster more robust nVidia GeoForce would be fine, however, the Intel GMA X3100 may not cut it. Give it a shot and let us know.

what is Direct X 9C? and where can i get it?

That is the one thing i dislike about macs is there the way they cant play any games because of there graphics cards i have a alein ware so no worries for me well i hope u get it working

Which is why all new MacBooks ship with pretty good graphics cards now...

It's a Microsoft graphics rendering program which must be installed in order to display certain graphic attributes like 3 D.

Read here and download:

Download DirectX 9.0c (full package) - the latest version of Direct X
