Upgrading to 10.5 + Lost password

Hello, I currently have 10.4 installed on my Macbook but I lost the password. Unfortunately, I have also lost the install disc needed to change my admin password. I was wondering if I could buy the 10.5 disc and use it to upgrade my mac AS WELL AS use it to change my admin password, essentially killing two birds with one stone :D . Thanks!
