can I rip DVD's then burn using Toast 9.0? I tried to rip my friends 'Seinfeld' DVD, but Toast did not allow this due to CSS encryption? Is there any software that will allow me to go around this problem or am I screwed for copying DVD's.
I also tried copying the image of the DVD, but that too did not work.
Any suggestions would be helpful.

Many or most commercially released DVDs have copyrighted software built in to stop exactly this.

Go and buy your own?

Well, if you ever need to archive a DVD of your own purchase, you can use Mac The Ripper to strip away the copy protection and then use toast to burn a Video_TS folder DVD, Toast will even shrink a DVD-9 to fit on a 4.5G single layer DVD-+R. This is for Archiving ONLY, not to steal a movie from your buddy!!;D
