PowerBook G4 1.33ghz 768ram, iMac G4 1.0ghz 1gb 80gb 10.4.11, iMac G3 450mhz 256 20gb 10.4.11 9.2.2
I just got an iMac G3. I was wondering if there was a way to control the volume and eject the optical drive from the keyboard. I have it's original keyboard and mouse.
Thanks:D

Theres a little extension called Open Try 1.5 (thats the OS9 version)you key
control/esc and the CD will eject. There may be an OS 10 version. Or on PCC macs use the key stroke Apple icon /y (put away) in the file menu.

Thanks, Mac SK. Is there any way to control the volume with the keyboard? The reason I ask is that I use it to watch movies and I hate having to go through the trouble of finding the volume bar every time I want to change it. I hardly see a reason to buy a new keyboard when the one that came with the G3 works just fine.

Don't remember if it works in OS 9 but pressing and holding down F12 should eject a cd.
