Battery Time

My MacBook won't calculate the time. It has the battery icon and it says (calculating...) next to it. I know it normally takes a few minutes to calculate, but it has been like this for almost twenty minutes. Does anyone know how to fix this?!

i would try to reset the power unit on the macbook first.
shut it down completely, remove the power lead and then the battery. then hold down the power button for 5-10 sec. then reinstert the battery and the power lead. then power back on and see if that changes anything.

if that doesn't, maybe you need to do a full cycle on the battery to calibrate it...

I turned off my computer and then I took out the battery, reinserted it, then turned it back on. It's fine now. I may have to reset the power unit like you said. Thanks for the help
