I am planning to give my mac laptop away to a friend by i want to clear all the stuff i installed on it. Is there any way to do it? Please someone help me. I appreciate it.

Stick in the original OS X disk that came with it and do a fresh install.

That'll do good enough unless someone wants to spend a couple of thousand to try to find stuff that hasn't been overwritten.
