Hey All,
I recently decided to resurrect an old Powerbook G3 233mhz (m4753). It hadn't been turned on in a few years so (needless to say) it wouldn't start up without being plugged in for a few days. The battery is pretty much shot and wouldn't charge. I have a new one but I can't get to it for a few days. Well, I finally got it to start but the keyboard doesn't work... AT ALL!! It was fine the last time I shut it down.
I've restarted with the battery out and no keyboard. Then I tried checking the ribbon cables which I unattached and reset just to make sure they were seated properly... still no keyboard. I heard something about power drains (like it setting for a few years) causing problems with the keyboard but I can't seem to find any info in it. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks A Million,
Bryan
