I know this issue has come up before, I saw it all over the place when I was researching USB cards. But I still haven't found the solution after endless searching. And sorry if this is in the wrong section. Wasn't sure if this is more OS or peripheral related...
I installed an Iogear USB 2.0 card and am now experiencing the typical issues that people have warned about. Everything is great, the card works fine etc but if the Mac goes to sleep mode and then wakes... the card doesn't work (iPods won't connect to iTunes) and the Mac will not shut down. (Have to hold down the button to power down)
I have a G4 Quicksilver, running Tiger. Is there any solution other than set the sleep preference to Never?
