I've transfered web pages saved from Internet Explorer on an OS9 IMac to a new IMac running Leopard. When I try to open these files on the new Mac by double-clicking it tells me that this is not possible as the classic environment is no longer supported. Attempts to open them via Mozilla or Safari fail too.
Using Command-I I can add a .html extension to the file, and change the default application from IE to Mozilla. The file then opens with Mozilla.
It will take ages to change the settings manually on every file. Is there any way to do this automatically, or any other workaround available?
Any thoughts on this problem appreciated.
