so i have a few questions i just want some other mac ppls opinions about

i have a black macbook, 2.2GHz, 4GB RAM, with a 200GB 7200rpm HD

1.) if i was interested in buying one of the new macbooks, are they compatible to the point that i could take out my harddrive and ram from this one and stick it in the new one and when i turned it on it would be just like my current macbook?? idk this might be one of the more stupid questions hahah :p

2.) i hear theres a 320GB 7200rpm HD out for the macbook?? will it work with my current macbook? if so, can i use my WD 320GB External Hard Drive with time machine to back up my entire computer, replace my current 200GB 7200rpm HD with the new 320GB 7200rpm HD and run a restore on time machine from the external hardrive and have everything the same as it is now but now on a bigger HD????

3.) Is it possible for me to replace my current graphics card (GMA X3100) with the new macbook graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce 9400M) which is supposed to perform 5x better??

i really appreciate any help you guys can give me :)

1) the HDD would be fine but the RAM in the MBs are DDR3 so putting DDR2 in it stupid (if possible) as it would slow down the machine.

2)Yeah there are 320GB 7,200rpm drives. I have one and will be installing when my T6 screwdriver arrives.

3)No you can't as the GPU is on the motherboard of the computer and it would be quicker, cheaper and easier to buy a MB instead.

yeah you can. You just have to boot from the OS X disc and then select restore from time machine.
