I have Acer 24" Monitor (DVI & VGA inputs) & a Mac Mini. I want to connect a PC with it's own Keyboard & mouse to this monitor thru a suitable switch. Anybody done this? What switch do I need?

Why do I need a PC? Don't ask!!

What is the exact model of your monitor?

Also, if your monitor has 2 components (DVI & VGA) it should have a switch, or button, to toggle between the two.

Acer AL2416WB is exact model. The 2 inputs are Acer covering all the bases in case your computer is either DVI or VGA output. The 'switch' is in the on screen menu to toggle either input. I supposed that meant I could connect another computer that had a VGA cable to the monitor & toggle between but I wasn't sure so wondered if any one had done it. Seems I'm on the right track though.

You will need a KVM switch to switch the keyboard and mouse.
