Will a restore CD of windows xp work for bootcamp?

I'm getting a Macbook Pro and I'm switching from always using a windows computer so its a little hard. I know I'll have to have windows for some games I play like Sims 3. But i'm worried I'll have to buy vista or windows b/c the CDs i have now won;t work for bootcamp. so i have a restore CD for windows XP and and have 2 upgrade Cds to upgrade to Vista. Can i use any of them or i have to go ang buy vista in the store ( which would suck).:p

p.s this may be a very stupid question but i'm freaking out >.<
