Bypass Startup Screen Password OS X

I bought a couple power mac g4s at a school auction....just the towers. When I turn it on it asks me for the user name and password. Is there anyway i can bypass or reset this? Thanks.

Do you have the original install media for the G4 machines? You'll need it to reset the password.

no, i didnt get anything with them....is it worth buying the os x disks just the reset the password for this outdated g4?

Obviously ir must be or you would not have purchased them I guess! If you are going to use them purchase OS Tiger X.4 full retail install DVD and legally a family pack at that.

I guess you could always contact the school about the discs, but these things have a habit of disappearing on day one.
