A while back, I tried to install some AppleScript (it was called FetchArt) for iTunes. Well, FetchArt didn't work. Now, whenever I open iTunes, I always have an AppleScript icon in the iTunes menubar and it really ticks me off. When I click on it, a menu drops down and FetchArt is there. I've already thrown out absolutely everything about FetchArt, but the AppleScript icon is still there. Does anyone know how to completely remove the AppleScript icon from my iTunes menubar?

These are some images:

This is what happens when I click on FetchArt under the AppleScript drop-down menu:

If you have any named scripts in that menu - try a search for that script

Bump, has this problem been sorted yet? I installed itunes capitalizer and not only does will it not move from my itunes toolbar, also it doesn't show up in finder even when I've enabled hidden files to be visible. Searched google and haven't found success, is this just something I'm gonna have to live with?
Thanks

Look in the above location also in the plug-ins folder

Also look in McHD / Library / iTunes / both the Scripts and Plugins folder

re: OS 10.5 - Remove AppleScript Icon from iTunes Toolbar?

Sometimes the easiest way is to use the command line.

Open Terminal, go to /Library/iTunes/Scripts and delete it there:

Code:
$ cd /Library/iTunes/Scripts
$ ls -la
$ rm Fetch\ Art.scpt

That should take care of it! :D
